- Send reminders 24 hours out
- Check for unfilled slots and ask for help if needed
- Print or share the roster with team managers
- Confirm keyholders and equipment access
During the game
Keep the day running smoothly with clear roles and a point of contact.
- Canteen and BBQ open on time
- Gate or scoreboard covered
- First aid kit and qualified person present
- Ground setup and pack-down underway
After the game
Close the loop so volunteers feel appreciated and next week is easier.
- Thank volunteers in person and online
- Log hours for recognition
- Note any gaps or issues for the next round
